I just saw Scream 4 today and I just wanted to get this down while it's still fresh in my memory. Don't worry, there aren't any spoilers in this review...just my thoughts on it. So all I gotta say is...
"What's your favorite scary movie?"
It's been ten years and Wes and Kevin have still got it. There were so many twists and turns in this film that it was hard to figure out who the killer(s) was/were. Just when you think it's one person another possible comes up.
I thought it was cool how all the cameos were handled and how they died were surprising. Some of them were predictable but what do you expect...it's a horror movie. All different ways of killing people have been done to death...(pun intended) "Saw", "Final Destination", etc.
But there's just something simple about a knife to any part of the anatomy...it never gets old. Just like Chucky said in "Bride of Chucky": "A true classic never goes out of style."
If you're an original "Screamer"...you'll love this movie. It may have been 10-11 years since the last one, but it'll feel like you never left.
